Overview

Welcome to this tutorial as part of the Perception & Cognition course at UNSW!

In this tutorial, we will first be looking at some of the response properties of the neurons found in the early stages of visual processing—those in the retina, the LGN, and V1. We will then measure a perceptual effect that has been associated with such response properties, learning a bit about psychophysics along the way.

When you are ready, you can move on to the Neuron simulator.
